Tri Town Health Department
The Tri Town Health Department, the only regional health department in the county and is overseen by a collaboratation of board members from the towns of Lee, Lenox, and Stockbridge.
The Tri-Town Health Department was created in 1929 due to a milk outbreak that occurred in the towns of Lee, Lenox, and Stockbridge. Since then, the Department has evolved in a variety of facets and as the only regional health department in Berkshire County, we have been delivering a wide variety of programs and services to not only our communities, but to other Berkshire County towns. By meeting standards sets and delivering the ten (10) essential services of public health http://www.cdc.gov/nphpsp/essentialservices.html , we continue to make great strides to promote, protect, and sustain public health in our communities.
